Kim Auger, President

Parlin School

Kim has been a teacher for 32 years. She is currently a teacher at the Parlin School. She has been the ETA president for 18 years. She believes that being involved in the union is essential for providing fair and equitable working conditions for all people. In addition, it helps provide students with the best education possible by ensuring all stakeholders are at the table.

 Jennifer Cuthbert, Vice President Elementary

Webster School

Jennifer is a 5th grade teacher at the Webster School. She has been teaching for 22 years as both a 5th grade teacher and as an 8th grade Science teacher. She is a mom of a daughter in the Everett Public School system and is a six year army veteran. Jennifer is active in the union because she believes that in unity, there is strength.
One hundred years from now, It won't matter what car I drove, What kind of house I lived in, How much I had in my bank account, Nor what my clothes looked like, But, the world may be a little better Because I was important in the life of a child.

Anna Seiders, Vice President High School

Everett High School

Anna has been teaching at Everett High for 13 years. She has worked with freshman through seniors and has been involved in the Success Program (now Connections) and STEM Academy. Currently, she teaches math and engineering for the STEM Academy students. She is also the advisor for the STEM Club. She began working with the union in 2017 and has loved every minute. She believes that all educators have something to bring to the table and together they can help create the best learning environments and experiences for their students.

Katie McGee, Recording Secretary

Keverian School

Katie has been working in Everett for more than 15 years.  She was a long time first grade teacher at the Parlin and is now a Math Interventionist at the Keverian.  She has a Master’s Degree in early childhood Education from UMass Amherst and grew up in Malden.  

So many of the education policies that affect our daily work come from our elected officials. She believes teachers should be involved and informed about the political climate surrounding education. Being involved in both the ETA and MTA is one way she feels she can make her voice heard.

Lyndsay Thanawitsuk, Communication Secretary

Everett High School

Lyndsay has been teaching visual art in EPS for 21 years. She started out teaching k-8 at the Lafayette School and is currently teaching photography at Everett High School. She was a building representative for 2 years at the Parlin School before joining the executive board. Lyndsay is an advocate for the specialist teachers across the district and strives for equity for all teachers regardless of the subject they teach. When we all work together, that’s when the school community thrives.

Stacy Poste-Schiavo, Treasurer

Parlin School

Stacy has been teaching in Everett for 27 years. She is currently teaching Social Studies at the Parlin School. For the Everett Teachers Association, Stacy is a Membership Chairperson and a Social Committee Chairperson. She has been the Everett High varsity softball coach for 26 years. She believes that being an active union member makes things better for everyone. It allows us to negotiate for higher wages and benefits as well as improve working conditions. In addition, she believes that together, union members can accomplish more than own their own.

Richard Liston

Retired

Richard is a retired teacher from Everett and the immediate last Everett Teachers Association president. He taught Special Education for 40 years. As a past ETA president for almost 30 years, he saw the power of Union strength in past conflicts and believes all members should be active participants. Together, many things can be accomplished. In addition to his work with the ETA, Richard is also a chair member of the MTA Retired Members Committee and serves as a trustee on the Massachusetts Teachers Retirement Board.

Gail is entering her 24th year as an administrative assistant in Everett Public Schools. The administrative assistants have only been members of the ETA since 2019. Gail started on Representative Council and joined the Executive board in 2022. She is very proud to have been on the negotiation team getting the AA their very first union contract. Gail believes that in unity there is strength.

Randy Boudreau

Everett High School

Randy is a French teacher at Everett High School and has been teaching for 21 years, 11 of which are in Everett. He was born in Massachusetts, but moved to Canada at the age of 9. He lived there for 10 years and worked in a French Public School teaching anything from kindergarten through junior high. He has been a union representative for many years and believes that it takes a community to cause change. One voice is not as strong as hundreds, and hundreds will be heard.

Jada Simmons Ononeme

Keverian School

 Jada has been a teacher in Everett for 11 years. Five years as a 5th grade teacher and six years as a 4th grade teacher. She has a Masters degree in Elementary Education. In addition, Jada is the chair of the diversity and equity committee for the ETA.
